IF you are having trouble citing your sources, this information will help. This is a skill that you NEED to master, and involves two tasks:
1) using in-text citations for every idea, fact, image, piece of information that is not: from your own head orgenerally known
2) and including a detailed Works Cited page(s) so that a reader can check the accuracy of your citation if they want to
There are many different formats (styles) for citing your sources, but you will be using MLA format in all your freshman courses.
NOTE: I, and possibly your other teachers, still require that you include URLs for all web sources, although MLA no longer does.
